Himachal Pradesh is globally known for its hills, viagra 40mg apples and scenic beauty. This is what drives millions of tourists each year to ‘the land of Gods’. But, viagra 100mg its feeble transport network that is unfit to match challenging hilly terrain extinguishes all the zeal as soon as you step down on the hilly state of Himachal.
But, pills not anymore. With state transport minister G.S Bali leaving no stone unturned to better the existing system, the future seems rosy for the travelers. As per official sources, the minister recently made a request to Union Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath to disburse adequate funds for the cash strapped state so as to strengthen the wanting transport network of the state.
If everything works up to the plans, the state would soon be expecting around 800 new buses which are talked about to be equipped with technologically advanced features. The buses would be superior in all aspects when compared to their peers plying on the state roads currently.
As per the recently released press release , G.S Bali has sought for Rs 471 crore for the purchase of 1,123 new buses for 11 clusters of state that includes 3,824,909 people. The proposal, if sees the light of the day, can immensely benefit the locals and outsiders alike.
The matter will be decided further in the official meeting of the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee.
As per official sources, the urban ministry of the state headed by Sudhir Sharma has requested the Central government to set up Urban Mobility Transport Authority in the state so as to restructure the state’s transport network in the urban areas underneath one roof.
The Urban Development Minster was of the view that due to tough geography of the hill states of the country, additional relaxation must be provided for setting up Urban Mobility Transport Authority to such states.
Urban commuters can benefit enormously if such an authority finds its feet on the ground in the time to come. For the reason, more and more number of urbanites will be taking to the existing transport network in approaching years, better and more extensive public transport network is needed.
Himachal Roadways Transport System (HRTC) is considered to be the life line of the state and therefore, improvement in the already existing structure and inclusion of technologically advanced buses is what’s required.
However, other than bringing about improvement in the state transport system, highways and road network also needs to get better. Until roads in Hiamchal Pradesh take up a major revamp, all other improvement measures brought on board by the state will only act as flop show. Just mere pot filling and patch work won’t solve the problem.
It’s still to be seen, if the latest plans materialize in actuality too or only end up as mere assurances proffered out to the average voter of the state.
