Shimla: Tourists and residents woke up to the city covered with the seasons first snowfall today. All traffic came to a halt and newspaper and milk supply was affected, but tourist made the best of the morning and could be seen taking selfies and group photo’s in the cold. 

As the day moved on, the snowfall continued and by afternoon was still snowing. 

RL Mohindru, an 77 year old Delhi resident, who has been visiting Shimla regularly for the past 50 years said that it was after many many years that he has seen so much snow at his favourite hill station.
