The itinerary of this luxury tourist train covers former princely states of Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and  Udaipur among others.

Palace On Wheels was launched in the year 1982 and in India, it is a recognized body by the Ministry of Tourism.
