The Border Roads Organization is determined to finish the Rahni Nullah problem prevailing since ages for once and all. “Heavy gear machinery is being used and we are hopeful to make the problem disappear forever,” say BRO engineers.
With the Rohtang Pass closed for tourist movement, the BRO
has accelerated the work of maintaining the road.
The record snowfall in 2012 made situation even worse on the Manali-Leh highway this year.

Yogesh Nayar, Commander of the BRO wing, has assured that the road conditions this year will be much better than ever. He also said that if the weather permits, they will complete the metalling of the road until the top of the Pass in a record time this year.
